Reunion. Depending on the weather, the registration desk may be outside near the dining hall, or inside the dining hall. When registering, the fee is $2 per adult and children

About the Park
Have fun at Fort Parker State Park, but make sure to follow these few rules while in the park:
1. Please park only in designated areas.
2. Campers are not permitted in the group barrack area, so if you plan to use your motor home, trailer, or tent, you must make other reservations with the Park office
to park in the camping area of the park.
3. State rules prohibit alcoholic beverages.
If you choose to stay in the barracks, please note that they are first come, first serve. Each barrack sleeps 20 people and are air conditioned. Make sure to bring linens and toiletries.
Restrooms are in seperate buildings in between the barracks. The park also offers campsites and RV hookups for an additional fee.
The park offers several activities including hiking, fishing, a boat ramp, swimming, camping, and a playground. For a complete list of activities, please visit the Texas Parks &
Wildlife site here.
A map of the park can be found here (PDF).
Business Meeting - 10:00 AM
Weather permitting, the business meeting will be held under the trees next to the dining hall at 10:00am on Saturday, July 17th. If raining or extremely hot, the business meeting will be
held inside the dining hall.
Family Photo - 11:45 AM
Each year, we try our best to get a photo of the entire family. Please make sure to be present shortly before the meal so you are included. The picture is available at the website shortly
after the reunion.
Meal - 12:00 Noon
Our family meal is served in the dining hall at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 17th. Plates, cups, mapkins, tea, ice and silverware are furnished for this meal. Please bring a covered
dish (or two or three); enough for your family and enough to share so we can all partake in this bountiful meal. Please make sure to thank the kitchen committee for helping to make
this meal a success.
Auction - 2:00 PM
Please bring an item (or more) for us to auction off. The auction helps us to raise money to ensure the Reunion can continue to use the park and to cover additional expenses. We would love to
have items that relate to the Parker family, but we will take anything you bring.
Games for the Kids
Kids and adults alike will never forget the unique brand of games after the auction. Past activies include the egg toss, biscuit toss and dodgeball. Stick around after auction to see what they
come up with this year.
Sunday
Sunday morning we clean up and say our goodbyes. We always strive to leave the grounds cleaner than we got them. Your help is greatly appreciated in this effort, especially if you stayed
in the barracks. Please make sure to take all your belongings and trash, and to sweep when you leave.
Other Activities
Make sure check out the Historic Fort Parker museum. More information can be found here. Directions
from the Park: Head south on Hwy 14 about one-half mile to State Hwy P35 and head west. There are signs showing the way. Donations to tour the fort are greatly appreciated.
